Happy Thanksgiving To You And Yours!

Happy Thanksgiving!  This year we give thanks for family, abundant food, roof over our head, good health, and friends both old and new...far and near.  Here sharing with you some of my children's favorite Thanksgiving poems this year!

Five Little Turkeys

Five little turkeys by the barn door,
One waddled off, then there were four.
Four little turkeys out under the tree,
One waddled off, then there were three.
Three little turkeys with nothing to do,
One waddled off, then there were two.
Two little turkeys in the noonday sun,
One waddled off, then there was one.
One little turkey - better run away!
Soon will come Thanksgiving Day.

I'm Thankful

I'm thankful for my friends and my family.
I'm thankful for the food I eat
I'm happy to be me!

I'm Glad I'm Not A Turkey

I'm glad I'm not a turkey, a turkey, a turkey,
I'm glad I'm not a turkey on Thanksgiving Day.
They stuff you and bake you,
And then they all taste you,
I'm glad I'm not a turkey on Thanksgiving Day!

Autumn Crafting: Pine Cone Owl & Swan Ornaments

Aren't they cute! Letting the kids have fun outdoor and crafting all in one!  Go hunting for pine cones in your backyard or the park.  Gather them in all sizes!  Then let the crafting begins!

My children & I got a head start with some of our autumn crafting this weekend and decided to turn some of the pine corns we've gathered into owls and swans.  To make the owl, click here: Owl Pine cone Ornaments or go to CRAFTING.
